Welcome 2015 Cape Canaveral OFF Shore Fishing
We have had a great start to 2015 our first half day we landed on some very nice King Mackerel. As we get further into our colder months we are seeing large numbers of King Mackerel some weighing in over 40 pounds, some Scattered Cobia and Sail Fish on the slow trolling gear around the reefs and shallow wrecks which will provide the most action this time of year. The off shore bottom fishing will be very dependent upon the sea condition. We need to stay away from days following a large swell as that can cause the water to be very dirty. Groupers are now closed until May 1st. However we should continue to see some Amber Jacks, lots of American Red Snapper that we have to release and some scattered Lane, Vermillion snapper, Sea Bass and Trigger fish.
